After class.. went to meet jiayi.. recapture our stupid video.. y again?!?! Coz the lec. realised that the stupid lanshare keep giving trouble.. so asked us to abandon it.. n put it into another drive.. which means we nd to recapture.. we are super lucky.. our footages all still there.. phew.. =) so since we had time.. we started dng a bit of the sequence..
Then I went to GP see doc.. coz of my eye.. gt a lump in it.. went there.. queue move quite fast.. coz each person onli 15 mins each for consultation.. so my turn.. went in..
then told the doc.. then see see.. then told me wat it was.. Chalazion.. say its coz some dirty particles went into my eye.. then didn’t come out or something n blk the eye glands so become lyk tt.. then he started flipping a bk.. say wanna show me the explanation… I was thinking.. huh? Y cant jus explain.. then the stupid bk dun have.. so he say he will find it online.. or their database thing.. dunno which one..
So while finding.. he prescribe me antibiotics.. 24 tablets.. n told me put hot towel over my eye.. should heal in shortest is.. 4 5 days.. 0_0 then finally he found the info online.. then he started reading it to me.. then it came to a line tt says topical or systemic antibiotics are nt effective and generally nt needed.. HAHAHAHA.. he was lyk.. hmm.. then.. erm.. y nt u hold on to the prescription for a wk+ if the lump still there.. then u take the pill.. prevent infection or something.. then he printed the info for me.. say for my reference.. if I want.. I can go online n do further research on it.. wah. Think I gt so much time ah?!?! Haha..
I was thinking.. oh my.. is he really a doctor nt?!?! Tell me to take antibiotics.. which is actually nt needed.. haiyo.. some more mus see book or online for more explanation.. when he actually could tell me wat is it.. n hw I might have gt it.. haiyo.. gd things no medications to take.. hehe..
Went home.. went to put hot towel on my eye.. quite shuang eh.. hehehe.. did it quite a few times.. =) I wan it gone!!! So in the way.. whole time see lyk gt 1 shadow at the bottom of my eye..

Chalazion (Chronic Meibomitis)
A Chalazion is an enlargement of a long, thin oil gland in the eyelid that results from an obstruction of the gland opening at the margin of the eyelid. It is a granulomatous, non-infectious reaction to the secretions liberated into the tissues from occluded meibomian glands.
Signs and symptoms:
At first, a Chalazion looks and feels like a stye: swollen eyelid, pain and irritation. However, after a few days the symptoms disappear, leaving a round, painless swelling in the eyelid that grows slowly for the 1st week. And red or gray area may develop underneath the eyelid. Pressure from the Chalazion may cause some discomfront and visual distortion.
Treatment:
Most Chalazia disappear without treatment after a FEW months. If hot compresses are applied several times a day, they may disappear sooner. If the remain after 6 wks, a doctor can drain them or simply inject a corticosteroid. Topical or systemic antibiotics are not effective and generally not needed.
