Then we had sound tut.. one of the best lessons I’ve had in poly n now!! Hehe.. this lecturer.. lively.. funny… quite shuai too.. hehe.. he didn’t look tt nice last sem.. hahahhaa.. anyway.. the way he teach easy to understand.. practically hands on.. gave us tips he has frm his experience.. oh oh.. n the best thing I learnt is how to test sound.. hw to see if the vol of actors acting in a conversation is gd... is to make them sing the ABC!!! Hahaha.. damn funny.. 3 of us had to say the ABC.. lyk I start A.. then the nx one says B.. then nx person C.. then me D.. etc… till almost the end.. my fren skipped one alphabet.. damn funny!!! Then he teach us how to hold the boom pole.. so as nt to hurt ur back.. but hmm.. I think anyhw holding it seems easier.. haha..
Oh n dunno y.. their mic.. boom pole etc.. the same as the one we used in sp.. but its heavier!!! Haiyo.. super tiring to hold.. then he told us.. its his first time “torturing" his students by making them try hold the boom pole n practice.. tsk tsk..
In QUT.. they fix the mic, windshield n cable for u already… n dun let u do it by urself.. nt lyk in sp.. fix urself.. the lecturer.. opened it up to show us the mic lyk wat.. the batt is where.. then while opening it apart.. he said.. whatever I’m dng nw.. u all aren’t suppose to do it.. I was lyk.. huh?! Wah.. feel so pampered.. haha.. they do it for u.. while in sp.. everything u do urself.. ok la.. gd thing there’s sp too.. where I learnt hw to fix it together.. hehe..
Oh oh.. n we used something new.. we had to use a sound mixer.. OOOO.. hehee..
He oso showed us this ad he did.. n videos tt he thinks is relevant.. interesting tut!! He totally noes wat students are lyk.. hates theory stuff.. so he practically speed through it..
Handed up our assignment.. Then lunch.. Collected our equipment!! then grp meeting.. chose the script we wanna shoot.. n where should we do our practice shoot.. then home!!! Best place on earth.. hehe..
Had dinner at mich’s house.. ate chicken curry.. watched tv.. n let mich use my com.. since her com died..
